Kakinada: A curious Tatapudi Balaji, who got onto the inaugural Vande Bharat at Rajamahendravaram on Monday night to click a photo of its interiors, has been booked for illegal boarding.
By the time Balaji clicked the picture and tried to get down, the automatic doors of Vande Bharat had got shut and the train started moving. He then requested the TTE for help but was told he could get down only in Vijayawada, the next stop.
The issue has become viral in social media. This reporter inquired from railway officials whether the man had been fined and other details, but could provide no clear details, except that he had been booked by the railway authorities.
Many people had thronged the railway station to see the new Vande Bharat train as it arrived at Rajahmundry.
