Apologise to Rahul, Bhatti tells KTR
HYDERABAD: Strongly condemning the language used by IT minister K.T. Rama Rao against Rahul Gandhi, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that the BRS working president should maintain decency before such outlandish remarks against a person who had sacrificed power and is striving to keep the country united.
Rahul Gandhi had embarked on a nationwide Bharat Jodo Yatra to put an end to communal fissures. The padayatra has made the entire world to sit up as he goes about meeting the downtrodden and eliciting their problems first-hand, he said.
Rao, who serenades around pubs and clubs, can’t seem to think of anything else. “Are agricultural fields where Rahul Gandhi joined the labour class looking like pubs to Rao?” he asked.
The language used by him mirrors his mental state. After the BRS came to power, Hyderabad has become the nerve-centre for the liquor and drugs mafia, he said, adding that everyone is aware of who is patronizing such activities.
How can Rao, who goes to meet Amit Shah for ‘settlements’, understand the integrity of Rahul Gandhi, he said.
Vikramarka demanded Rama Rao to apologise to Rahul Gandhi for his unsavoury remarks.
