Gadapa Gadapaku for people’s feedback: Dharmana
VISHAKHAPATNAM: Revenue minister Dharmana Prasada Rao declared that YSRC government is seeking public opinion on its three-year rule through the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam programme that it is organising throughout the state.
While participating in his mass contact programme at Badurgapeta in Srikakulam town on Friday, he told reporters that Gadapa Gadapaku will help YSRC leaders understand problems being faced by people and resolve them at the earliest.
“The programme will help us know what people are thinking about our government,” the minister maintained.
He said to fulfil its promises prior to the 2019 elections, YSRC government has launched several welfare schemes for the people during its three-year rule. The party is organising feedback programmes for understanding the extent to which these schemes have benefited people.
Prasada Rao maintained that no government has implemented such welfare schemes so far. “Our system of implementation is transparent. All the schemes are reaching the targeted groups,” he pointed out.
The minister underlined that 40 lakh beneficiaries are getting pension on the first day of every month, unlike in the past when there was corruption and the benefits reached only a few.
Prasada Rao said opposition has been campaigning that YSRC government is involved in land scams including in Visakhapatnam. “This is nothing but misinformation launched by opposition and its allied media groups,” he declared.
