Hyderabad: A division bench of the Telangana High Court on Thursday took up a file writ petition questioning the powers of Telangana State Human Rights Commission to entertain a complaint in relation to property disputes.
The bench of Ujjal Bhuyan and C.V. Bhaskar Reddy was dealing with the petition filed by Mallela Laxminarayana, who sought calling for records pertaining to HRC case No. 2448 of 2022 and quashing of the same.
The bench wondered how the commission can entertain a property dispute plea. It ordered notice to the complainant who approached the human rights commission.
