Hyderabad: Osmania University bagged the first prize of the NTPC Electron Regional Finals of Southern Region, followed by the engineering department and management wing of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
The top three teams of the regional final will battle it out at the national final. S Khadanga, CGM (Infra) NTPC, awarded the prizes at the auditorium of JNTU campus on Saturday.
It was a close competition with teams competing for the title till the end. The winning team comprised Saneya Rafeeque Siddiqui and Saniya Mahreen from OU’s biomedical department. U. Nidhila Reddy and T. Ishita Rao of JNTU engineering was the first runner-up followed by Sreehas and Ravi Teja of JNTU management studies.
Ninety-two teams registered for the event encompassing 184 students from Telengana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
