Vidya teachers to join early

Khammam: While the candidates who got appointments as Vidya volunteers are in happy mood, the candidates who are waiting for new notification for teachers appointment, are worried about the delay in the process. About 673 Vidya volunteers were selected for both Khammam and Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts and they will joint duty from July 20.

The state government sanctioned 327 Vidya volunteer posts to Khammam and 346 to Bhadradri district. Applications for the volunteers were received till July 16 and the mandal education officers selected them on July 17. Each volunteer will be paid Rs 12,000 a month as wage and they should have B.Ed, D.Ed and pundit course certificates along with degree certificates.
