Two die in separate road mishaps in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: Two persons succumbed to injuries in two separate road accidents in the city. A 38-year-old cook, who was returning after attending the Bonalu festival, succumbed to injuries after he collided with a concrete mixer near J.P. Dargah under Kottur police station limits.
The victim, B. Anjaiah, at 1 am on Tuesday, was returning on his bike from Dilsukhnagar to Keshampet when he rammed into a concrete mixer attached to a DCM truck. Kottur police registered a rash and negligent case against the DCM driver and shifted the victim’s body to Osmania general hospital for post-mortem.
In a separate case, Chaipuri Rakesh, 28, working in a private firm succumbed to his injuries after he accidentally fell from his bike in Pedda Amberpet in the early hours of Tuesday. Rakesh, a resident of Hasthinapuram, took a U-turn at Pedda Amberpet crossroads when his bike skidded.
A commuter rushed him to a private hospital where the doctors declared him dead, police said. Rakesh, a supervisor at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Motors, was returning home after completing his work. Police registered a case and shifted the victim’s body to Osmania general hospital for post-mortem.
