Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified person was found floating in the Durgam Cheruvu lake on Friday. Police suspect the man could have jumped in the lake and died by suicide. However they could not find any clues on the body or in his clothing, leading to his identity.
On Friday around 9am, lake patrol teams noticed the body and alerted Madhapur Police station and the body was brought out of the lake.
Madhapur SI K Venkatesh said the person could be aged around 45 and is wearing jeans and a formal shirt. There is no mobile phone or any things with him. “ We are verifying for clues and are also checking the CCTVs in the surroundings,” he said. A case has been registered at Madhapur PS and further investigation is underway, he said.
