Land surveys ended disputes in villages: Dharmana

Visakhapatnam: Dismissing TD criticism of land surveys, revenue minister Dharmana Prasada Rao mocked N. Lokesh for being "out of touch with reality." Addressing media after opening the Gudem Sachivalayam in Srikakulam, Dharmana challenged both Lokesh and his father, Chandrababu Naidu, to "build homes in AP and experience these surveys firsthand."

Highlighting the benefits, Dharmana emphasised how surveys have resolved village disputes and reduced law and order issues. He called the century-old surveys outdated, necessitating modern resurveys with advanced tools. "Don't trust Opposition lies," he advised, accusing Naidu of neglecting land issues during his 14-year reign.

Dharmana further lambasted TD's "Janma Bhoomi committee corruption," contrasting it with YSRC's free surveys and passbooks. He praised the new Sachivalayam, aiming to bring all administrative services closer to rural communities. He credited the YSRC government for these initiatives, pointing to its commitment to people's welfare and social schemes.

Dharmana concluded by highlighting Jagan's focus on women's welfare, contrasting it with Naidu's alleged election-time populism.
