Woman IPS officer wants action against IAS officer in Karnataka
BENGALURU: IPS officer D Roopa said to have brought to the notice of the State Government with "proof" seeking action against IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri over her “behavior” and the IPS officer also posted a couple of pictures of Rohini Sindhuri which the IPS officer claimed that Rohini sent the pictures of her to about three IAS officers “one to one” from being in “haircut” to “in sleeping posture with a pillow.”
IPS officer Roopa is now the Managing Director of Karnataka Handicrafts Development Corporation while IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri is the Commissioner of department of Muzrai and Endowments, Karnataka.
Over the pictures she has posted on a social networking site, Roopa stated “Such pictures might seem to be normal but the circumstances speak otherwise.” Roopa questioned the “intention” of posting pictures to IAS officers “one to one.”
Expressing displeasure, Roopa told mediapersons that despite complaints against Rohini Sindhuri no action has been initiated against her by the State Government and demanded an investigation against Rohini and those who have supported her.
Roopa stated that she and her husband Mounish Moudgil, an IAS officer, had helped and supported Rohini Sindhuri on numerous occasions such as drafting letters. But, Roopa alleged that the ‘behaviour” of Rohini changed nowadays and Rohini allegedly “crossed her limits.”
Reacting to the charges levelled by Roopa, Rohini Sindhuri in a press release stated to initiate legal actions against Roopa over violation of Service Conduct Rules seeking disciplinary action against Roopa and also knock the doors of Appellate Authority with a complaint.
Rohini Sindhuri warned Roopa of action against her under various provisions of Indian Penal Code (IPC) as well.
On Roopa, Rohini said “By posting pictures of her, Roopa wants to be at the centre of media attraction” and termed the act of Roopa “as an act of personal vendetta.”
