Hyderabad Sees Light Drizzle, Districts Record Heavy Rain
HYDERABAD: Hyderabad experienced light drizzle across the city on Saturday while many districts in the state reported heavy rainfall.
Jagtial, Mulugu, Nirmal, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Mancherial, Peddapalli, and Rajanna Sircialla recorded heavy rain.
The IMD reported that a low-pressure area now covers north Chhattisgarh and its vicinity, with the associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level and tilting southwards.
In the next five days, isolated areas in the state are expected to experience light to moderate rains.
The IMD has issued a yellow warning for the next two days due to lightning and thunderstorms in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Ranga Reddy, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Jayashankar Bhupalapally.
Hyderabad is likely to have windy weather with wind speeds of 8-10 kmph and light rain for the next 48 hours.
