Commission appointed to study issues of Bento Oriya, Valmiki/Boya Communities

Vijayawada: The Jagan Mohan Reddy government on Wednesday issued GO appointing a One Man Commission to study the issues of Bento Oriya and Valmiki/Boya Communities in AP state to include those communities in the ST category.

Social Welfare Department Secretary to Government Kantilal Dande issued orders appointing retired IAS officer I. Samuel Anand Kumar, as One Man Commission, to study the issues of Bento Oriya and Valmiki/Boya Communities.

The government gave three months of time to study the issues of Bento Oriya and Valmiki/Boya Communities and to submit a report to the Government.
