DRDL officials meet Hyderabad police chief

Hyderabad: The city police on Friday briefed a six-member team from the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) on how the state-of-the art facility at the Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC) aggregates information across multiple applications, CCTVs and traffic sensors deployed across the state.
A tech team of the city police also explained how the application works in the back end to trigger alerts with regard to crowd gathering, geo-fence alerts, unattended baggage and traffic congestion. The police also showed the tam the emergency operations centre of Dial 100, multi-agency operation centre and the technology fusion centre. They later called on Hyderabad police commissioner C.V. Anand.
