HYDERABAD: Following the directions of the Telangana High Court’s directions to the state authorities to monitor facilities being provided to girl students, Hyderabad Metropolitan Legal Services Authority secretary Radhika Jaiswal inspected education institutions in the city on Tuesday.
Jaiswal also inspected the cleanliness of the surroundings, toilet facilities and the availability of including sanitary napkin vending machines. In the colleges where the toilets are under repair, she directed the management to complete the works immediately and submit a compliance report.
She also spoke to teachers and children at Government Junior College, Kachiguda, Old Government Junior College for Boys, New Government Junior College for Girls, Malakpet, Mahbubia Government Junior College for Girls, Alia Junior College for Boys, Chanchalguda Degree and Junior College for Boys and Girls, Government City College, government junior college, Nampally and Vocational College, Nampally.
After completing visits to all the institutions, a report will be submitted to the Telangana State Legal Service Authority, she said.
