THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Investiture Ceremony of Army Public School, Thiruvananthapuram, was held on Thursday at Cariappa Auditorium, Pangode. The chairman of the school Brigadier Michael A. J. Fernandez presided over the function. He along with the principal, Mrs Sindhu Suresh, formally inducted the students to the School Council for the academic session 2017-18. A. P. Adarsh and Taru Ahluwalia were appointed as the school captains while A. V. Karthika and V. V. Vaishnav as Junior School Captains.
The chairman addressed the gathering emphasising on the importance of leaders leading from the forefront and also the need for them to be followers and serve the team. The ceremony ended with National Anthem rendered by the school choir. Lt. Col. Damodaran, education officer, Pangode military station was also present.
