Governor expresses relief over kids’ recovery

The Governor instructed Raj Bhavan officials to contact the district administration to find out about the status of the students

HYDERABAD: Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, upset after learning that students from the minority residential school in Kaghaznagar of Komaram Bheem-Asifabad district were hospitalised due to food poisoning, on Tuesday took matters into her own hands to find out about the well-being of the affected students.

According to a news release from Raj Bhavan, the Governor instructed Raj Bhavan officials to contact the district administration to find out about the status of the students.

The Governor, the release said, expressed relief after she was informed that all the affected students were discharged and were doing well.
