Kurnool: A minor girl who was kidnapped by a youngster ten days ago has managed to escape from his clutches and bravely reported her ordeal to the Nandikotkur police.
The accused, Srikanth, a resident of Pamulapadu mandal, had kidnapped the girl, who was living in his neighbouring house, on October 9 and taken her to Tirupati.
After the girl's family members reported her missing to the local police, an investigation was initiated.
The girl finally escaped from Srikanth on Thursday and went to the Nandikotkur police station to report her kidnapping.
Sub-inspector Ramana said that a case of kidnapping has been filed against Srikanth and an investigation is underway.
