Two drown in Nanajipur waterfalls in Shamshabad
Hyderabad: Two men who went for a swim, allegedly in an inebriated condition, drowned in Nanajipur waterfalls at Shamshabad on Sunday.
Chakali Nagaraju, 45, and Mailram Raju, 35, were residents of Nanajipur and had gone for a swim on Sunday afternoon.
“Nagaraju worked as a driver and Raju irons clothes for a living. Locals said that the duo consumed alcohol and went for a swim and drowned. It is learnt that both can swim but we suspect being in an inebriated condition they drowned,” said the police. The bodies were retrieved and families were informed about their death. A case was booked under section 184 (suspicious death) of the CrPC.
