DGP felicitates Police duty meet medal winners
HYDERABAD: A. Manmohan, Inspector deputed to Rachakonda commissionerate has won Gold Medal in Scientific Aids to Investigation (Written test LAW) conducted during the All India Police Duty Meet held in Bhopal.
Five more personnel of Telangana Police have also won medals in different events. DGP Anjani Kumar felicitated the winners on Tuesday.
Manmohan who had earlier served as Station House office in Maheshwaram, Meerpet, Malkajgiri and Kushaiguda under Rachakonda commissionerate said that the medal is a big achievement for him and also an honour to the Telangana police department and Rachakonda police in particular.
“The credit goes to my parents for their blessings and also my superiors for their constant encouragement. I also want to thank D Pratap, Additional SP for his continuous guidance in preparing for the test,” Manmohan told Deccan Chronicle.
Among others are B Venkatesh SI Communication, SIB Intelligence, Silver medal in Computer Awareness ( Programming Ability), B Vijay Head Constable, CI Cell Intelligence, Silver medal Computer Awareness (Programming Ability), A Anil Kumar, Constable Fingerprint Unit, Balanagar Zone, Cyberabad, silver medal and G Thirupati and G Ramakrishna Reddy of the ISW, third place in Anti Sabotage check (Ground Search).
Congratulating the awardees, Anjani Kumar said that such competitions will increase professional competitiveness.He also said that the state level police duty meeting was not organised due to Covid.
