WARANGAL: Jangaon BRS MLA Muttireddy Yadagiri Reddy is facing a unique problem at his public events. His daughter Tulja Bhavani is turning up at these events, and is questioning him in public for allegedly forging her signature and grabbing her land.
The MLA faces allegations of encroachment of government land parcels including some part of a lake on the outskirts of Jangaon over the past few years.
Last month, Tulja Bhavani had lodged a complaint with the Uppal police in Hyderabad alleging that the MLA had forged her signature and grabbed 159 square yards of a commercial complex in Nacharam in the state capital.
The MLA at that time had denied the charge and had claimed that there were two plots of 125 square yards and a third of 150 square yards, on which the commercial complex was constructed.
His son had given that commercial complex on lease to Canara Bank without his knowledge but the property was on his daughter’s name, the MLA claimed and alleged that his political rivals had provoked her.
But, over the past few days, Tulja Bhavani has started going to the spots where the MLA is holding public events, and started questioning him for forging her signature and for selling her property.
On Monday, when the MLA visited Chitakodur to participate in the Harithotsavam as part of the 21-day state formation day decennial celebrations, Tulja Bhavani appeared at the event and started questioning him in the presence of the people and BRS leaders. She also brought copies of the allegedly forged documents.
On Tuesday, she visited the MLA camp office. Having learnt of her presence, Yadagiri Reddy stayed away. After waiting for some time, she left the office.
She then went to a church near the bus stand and a masjid near the railway station where the MLA was expected to turn up for the ‘Spiritual Day.’ Yadagiri Reddy did not go to either place
It is learnt that Yadagiri Reddy did not participate in Telangana martyrs commemoration day on Thursday, fearing that she would confront him there.
