Traffic restrictions in Hyderabad for Telangana Martyrs Memorial inauguration
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad traffic police on Thursday released a traffic advisory on the occasion of the Martyr’s Memorial inauguration by chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday. There will be traffic diversion and restrictions in Hyderabad from 3 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, in connection with the event.
Traffic curbs have been placed in areas surrounding Khairatabad. Additional traffic commissioner, G. Sudheer Babu said that NTR Park, Necklace Road, and Lumbini Park would remain completely closed.
'Traffic is prohibited between Khairatabad square, Necklace Road Rotary, NTR Marg, and Telugu Talli Junction,” he said. The cops diverted traffic from Ranigunj, Karbala, Secunderabad, and Iqbal Minar towards Lower Tank Bund.
Traffic police issued a list of junctions to avoid as part of decongesting traffic. The list includes V.V. Statue Jn, Old Saifabad PS Jn, Ravindra Bharati Jn, Mint Compound Road, Necklace Rotary, Ranigunj, Karbala, Katta Maisamma, Tank Bund, Liberty, Telugu Thalli Jn and flyover, Nallagunta Jn, Bada Ganesh Jn, and Children’s Park.
Additionally, 11 designated parking areas have been arranged for the guests to park their vehicles.
