Andhra Pradesh to study assigned lands in other states
Vijayawada: AP government on Sunday announced the constitution of a committee with ministers, MLAs and officials to study assigned lands and laws governing them in the neighbouring states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
The high-level committee includes five ministers and nine MLAs, apart from officials. It is headed by revenue minister Dharmana Prasada Rao.
The other ministers on the committee are Taneti Vanita, Merugu Nagarjuna, Audimulapu Suresh and Peedika Rajanna Dora. MLAs on the panel are T. Bala Raju, Kambala Jogulu, Kaile Anil Kumar, Mekathoti Sucharita, T.J.R. Sudhakar Babu, Koramulta Srinivasulu, Jonnalagadda Padmavathi, K. Adimula and Kottagulli Bhagyalakshmi.
The officials on the assigned lands’ committee are additional Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA)) A Md. Imtiaz, CCLA joint secretary G. Ganesh Kumar, CCLA assistant secretary P. Gopala Rao and CCLA superintendent K. Anjaneyulu.
