Visakhapatnam: Deputy chief minister Peedika Rajanna Dora has asked officials to make successful the tour of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to Chinamedapalli village in Mentada mandal of Vizianagaram district.
Jagan will be laying the foundation stone for the Central Tribal University at Chinamedapalli, accompanied by union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The deputy CM, Chief Minister’s programmes coordinator and MLC Talsila Raghuram, Vizianagaram collector S. Nagalakshmi, and zilla parishad chairperson Majji Srinivasa Rao visited Chinamedapalli on Tuesday.
Rajanna Dora said a large number of Adivasis people from his home constituency Saluru will attend the public meeting. Tribal women will welcome the Chief Minister by performing traditional dances.
The district administration is arranging 200 RTC and 150 other buses for bringing people to the CM’s meeting from Dattirajeru, Mentada, Gajapathinagaram, Badangi and Ramabhadrapuram of Vizianagaram district, apart from Saluru and Pachipenta of Parvathipuram Manyam district.
