KAMAREDDY: Several people from the Dalit community staged protests in Domakonda, Bibipet mandals of Kamareddy district on Wednesday demanding sanction of Dalit Bandhu, financial aid scheme.
They raised slogans against BRS government. The protestors submitted memorandum to Dr BR Ambedkar statue in the villages. Dalits of Bibipet, Konapur and other villages took part in the agitation programmes. In the backdrop of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao decided to contest from Kamareddy Assembly constituency, Dalits are hoping to get Dalit Bandhu scheme additional units.
