Tirupati: Two youngsters have died while another person sustained injuries when an autorickshaw collided head-on with the motorbike on which they were going on Punnuru Road in Indukurpeta mandal in Nellore district on Friday.
According to reports, the victims have been identified as S, Sadiq, 21, and A. Anil, 22. They, along with a third person named Hari, were travelling on a motorbike. The trio, all hailing from Third Mile, in close proximity to Nellore city, were en route to Mypadu from their homes when an autorickshaw, heading towards Nellore, collided with their motorbike.
The impact of the collision resulted in the immediate death of two youths on the spot while the third person suffered injuries and was shifted to a private hospital in Nellore city for treatment. The autorickshaw driver fled after the accident. Police arrived at the accident site and collected details. A case has been registered and the bodies of the deceased were shifted for post-mortem examinations.
