GHMC reported 254 new cases in the last 24 hours

HYDERABAD: Due to festive season and declining trend of Coronavirus in Telangana, health authorities have in the latest round tested only 38,565 samples for the virus. 1,456 of these samples turned out to be positive.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the state has reached 2,27,580. There have been five new deaths, which has taken the death toll in TS to 1,292.
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation reported 254 new cases. Ranga Reddy and Medchal Malkajgiri had 98 cases. Rural areas are seeing a decline in new cases.
There are 20,183 active Coronavirus patients in the state of whom 16,977 are being treated at home or are in institutional isolation. The total number of recovered patients in TS has reached 2,06,105.
