Hyderabad: Actress booked for trespassing
Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police of Hyderabad registered a case against actress Swati Dixit and her associates on charges of trespassing on to a property owned by an NRI at Road No. 58 and assaulting the staff at the site. Swati was not present in the scene at the time of the incident, but it is alleged that those trespassing into the property did it on her instructions.
According to police, A Manduri, an NRI, owns a property in Road No. 58 of Jubilee Hills. A year ago, Swati approached her with a proposal to set up a coffee shop on the ground floor of the building and they entered into a lease agreement. But as disputes arose between both parties, the matter went to the court.
However, Madhuri alleged that on Monday evening around 20 persons barged into their premises, damaged the gates and created a ruckus. They also assaulted the staff and damaged household articles, she alleged.
Jubilee Hills police said they have begun collecting the evidence and the investigation is underway.
