YSRC MP Mopidevi visits fire-hit harbour

Visakhapatnam: Mopidevi Venkataramana, an YSRC Rajya Sabha MP and fishermen leader, paid a visit to the fishermen who lost their boats in the fishing port fire. He was accompanied by YSRC district president and former fisheries chairman Kola Guruvulu.

Venkataramana stated, "Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy responded with a humanitarian perspective and gave orders that the government will pay 80 per cent of the loss."

He also stated that the owners of the partially damaged boats would receive justice. Efforts will be made to get the compensation as soon as possible. He also stated that CM Jagan invited him to Vizag Harbour.

He told the fishermen that the government will take care of not only their compensation but also their other difficulties.
