Asaduddin Owaisi Criticises PM's Reported Refusal to Deboard Plane in South Africa

HYDERABAD: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday said that contrary to the make-believe propaganda being spread to the people, it was being reported that the stature of the country was not great.

Posting on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) said that if reports were to be believed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had refused to deboard the plane in South Africa as he was peeved at not being received by the host President Cyril Ramaphosa. The South African President was reportedly busy with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“It amounts to childish behaviour,” Owaisi said. “Such an attitude is unbecoming of a leader.”
