Medak diocesan officers meet KCR
Hyderabad: The officers of the Medak Diocese, on Wednesday, submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar during their meeting in Medak.
They discussed the development of the Cathedral Pilgrimage Project and the need for government grants to be sanctioned. With the Cathedral’s centennial celebration approaching in December 2024, the discussions held with the Chief Minister 'were fruitful', the officers said.
The Telangana state government expressed a positive commitment to support the pilgrimage development, which was encouraging news for the officers and the diocese.
“Such commitment from the government is expected to play a crucial role in ensuring the successful realisation of the Cathedral Pilgrimage Project and the improvement of facilities for pilgrims visiting the Cathedral,” said another officer of the diocese.
