Vijayawada: Devotees accorded a grand welcome to the sacred 'Kalasalu,' which included 'Akshintalu' brought from Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi, at Nunna near Vijayawada on Sunday. Representatives from the Samarasata Seva Foundation (SSF) transported these revered 'Akshintala Kalasalu' to the NTR district.
In a joyous display of devotion, women enthusiasts performed the traditional 'Kolatam' dance in front of the splendid 'Shobhayatra.' Noteworthy personalities such as Sri Yoga Abhyasa Ashram Trustee Amith Dev Swamiji, Samarasata Seva Foundation district convener Chinnam Markendeswara Rao, and others reverently carried the 'Akshintala Kalasalu' on their heads, visiting various temples in Nunna village before concluding their procession at the Sri Venugopala Swamy temple.
A Hindu Sammelanam was organised at the Sri Venugopala Swamy temple, where, in the esteemed presence of Sri Vasudevanandagiri Swamiji and Amith Dev Swamiji, the 'Akshintas' were amalgamated with silver teeth. Swamiji conducted special pujas, invoking divine blessings upon the gathered masses.
