Hyderabad: Secunderabad Cantonment MLA G. Lasya Nanditha and six of her security detail and associates were locked in a lift that dropped about six feet. The lift was designed to accommodate four persons. The incident occurred at the VR Multi-Speciality Hospital in Bowenpally, where she had attended its seventh anniversary celebrations. Those waiting outside opened the lift gates and helped the MLA and the others escape. No one was injured.
