NISA trainees complete rigorous training
Hyderabad: It was a momentous day for 317 energetic 16th batch assistant commandant and first batch assistant sub-inspector trainees on the culmination of rigorous training at the National Security Academy (NISA) in Shamirpet on Saturday.
This was stated by Jagbir Singh, additional director general, CISF, while addressing the trainees, especially highlighting the professional significance of the exposure.
Those passing out included 19 assistant commandants/executives and 298 assistant sub inspectors and executives, who completed the comprehensive training and gained skills in diverse subjects, Jagbir said.
The curriculum covered disciplines like industrial security management, soft skills, aviation security, disaster management, VIP security and leadership and outdoor activities, including krav-maga, urban tactics, jungle warfare and training in the latest firearms.
The batch underwent a full-fledged competency-based training (CBT), a pioneering methodology aimed at enhancing their capabilities for varied roles in the field.
NISA was conferred the national award for excellence in training in 2016 by
DoPT, and the 'Finest India Skills & Talent (F.I.S.T) 2017 award' for being the best security training institution in the country, instituted by the fire and safety association of India.
K. Sunil Emmanuel, director of NISA submitted the course report of the two batches and commended their performance.
