Naval passing out parade on May 28 in Ezhimala

The passing out cadets include 25 female cadets, of which 19 would join the Indian Navy and 06 would join the Indian Coast Guard.

Thiruvananthapuram: The Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala will hold its Passing out Parade (POP) for Spring Term 2016 on May 28, 2016. 301 cadets including three cadets from friendly foreign countries from four passing out courses, viz., the 90th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC BTech), 90th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC MSc) 21st Naval Orientation Course (Extended) and the 22nd Naval Orientation Course (Regular), will pass out on successful completion of their training.

The passing out cadets include 25 female cadets, of which 19 would join the Indian Navy and 06 would join the Indian Coast Guard. INA has invited NCC cadets, students and teachers of local schools and colleges to witness the parade during the Commandant’s Final Review on May 25. INA’s four year B Tech degree course is accredited by AICTE. and is conducted under the aegis of the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

As part of the events connected with POP, cadets of the 90th INAC will be awarded their BTech degree by Prof Ashish Nanda, Director, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad during the convocation ceremony scheduled on 27 May 16, in presence of their proud parents and guardians.
