German Consul General meets Jagan
VIJAYAWADA: Federal Republic of Germany consul general Michaela Küchler called on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office here on Wednesday.
Küchler informed the CM that she considers AP government as focussed and ready to work with Germany in areas of manufacturing, industrial development, technology transfer, renewable energy, sustainable practices, start-up ecosystem, skill enhancement programmes, trade and investment promotion, among others.
During the discussions on investment opportunities in AP, Jagan Mohan Reddy informed the consul general that trained and skilled manpower, apart from basic infrastructure, are available aplenty in Andhra Pradesh.
“Government is ready to extend all possible cooperation to investing industrialists,” the CM underlined.
Special chief secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Poonam Malakondaiah and senior officials of Germany Embassy in India were present.
