Karimnagar: BJP national general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar observed that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao would do everything to grab votes in the forthcoming elections.
“BRS party has donated crores of rupees in every assembly constituency for establishing Ganesh pandals. It is using Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations for politics,” Sanjay Kumar charged. He spoke to media persons after visiting Ganesh pandals in several colonies of Karimnagar city on Sunday.
The MP accused KCR of distributing Rs 3,000 to Rs 10,000 for each vote in the by-elections that had been held in the state. “During the 10 years of his rule, other than scams and scheming, KCR had done nothing for the people,” he remarked.
Sanjay Kumar said by suspending Group-I examinations, the Chief Minister has played with the lives of lakhs of students. Not only competitive examinations, BRS government is not able to conduct even the 10th and intermediate examinations in the state properly.
“Parents of youth must realise that the future of their children will remain in the dark under CM KCR’s rule. Already, a youth Murali Mudiraj has committed suicide in the university, leaving his parents in distress,” he observed.
The BJP MP demanded that the state government must sanction Rs 1 lakh to each candidate who appeared for the Group-I examination. Further, when appearing for the next exam, there must be relaxation in age, so that every unemployed youth can appear for the examination. He wanted that each unemployed person be given Rs 3,116 until they get jobs.
Sanjay Kumar said use of drugs is high in the state. In addition, liquor being promoted by KCR is making people addicted to alcohol.
“BJP is trying hard to dethrone CM KCR. People should join hands with the BJP in fighting against the BRS government,” he stated.
