Hyderabad: A private employee died by suicide at Durgam Cheruvu in Madhapur due to financial crisis, the police said on Wednesday.
The deceased identified as Sampath Kumar, 45, who had worked at Super Max Company for 25 years, was facing financial problems due to unpaid salaries. e was one of the employees who had been protesting in front of the company three months ago, the police said.
According to Madhapur inspector N. Tirupati, Sampath, a resident of Gajularamaram, was married and had two children. He had a recent argument
with his father before the tragic incident. Family members reported that the dispute was related to financial issues, as stated in the complaint.
“We have registered a case and the investigation is under way,” Tirupati aid adding that the body has been shifted to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem.
