Warangal: Five members in a family including a five years old child tested positive to the Covid-19 here in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
Three days back, one Sunkari Yadamma (65) resident of Gandhi Nagar was admitted in a private hospital suffering from fever and cough. After diagnosis, the hospital staff confirmed that she was attacked with the Coronavirus and suggested her to join the government run Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) hospital in Hanamkonda.
The doctors at MGM after conducting tests kept Yadamma in the isolation ward established specially for Covid-19 patients. Later, four other members of the Yadamma family also showed symptoms of Covid-19 and after attending for medical tests, resulted positive to Covid-19.
The four members who were identified as Bhaskar (42), Veena (30), Akash (13) and Middini (5) were kept in home isolation and as per suggestions given doctors are taking treatment at their house.
The doctors said that the health condition of all the four members of the family was normal and were under the supervision of health officials. Yadamma, who was the elder of the family, was also undergoing treatment in the isolation ward at MGM hospital, they added.
