Focus on Creating Agri-based Jobs: Pulsus Group

Visakhapatnam: On the occasion of National Farmers Day, Pulsus Group CEO Gedela Srinubabu suggested that North Andhra farmers should shift towards commercial crops. In this regard, the Pulsus Group orchestrated an event in Srikakulam that underscored the collective commitment to transforming North Andhra's economy.

The event mainly focused on generating a million jobs through agri and food-based industries, reshaping the economic landscape, and ensuring a sustainable future. Speaking on the occasion, Gedela Srinubabu emphasised the need to train local farmers in cultivating commercial crops while also advocating for digital marketing and AI training for their children to sell produce nationwide through various online platforms.

He also announced plans for a European Business Technology Centre, aiming to adopt European farming techniques and export goods. This collaborative effort involves a local university, a research centre, and an organisation, presenting numerous opportunities for Andhra Pradesh farmers to enhance practices through technology transfer, he stated.

The Pulsus Group claimed the active participation of over 50,000 farmers and their children in the event. A similar event was held in Rajam, it added.
