Legislative Council Chairman distributes Kalyan Laxmi, Shaadi mubarak cheques

Hyderabad: Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy said the state government schemes like Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakhsmi, which provide financial assistance during the marriage of girls, had helped poor and middle class families.

Sukhender Reddy distributed Rs 4.85 crore worth of cheques to 485 beneficiaries of the two schemes in Miryalaguda. He said the state government schemes were receiving a mammoth response from beneficiaries. He called upon the people to utilise the services and schemes being extended by the BRS government.
