Hyderabad: BRS MLC Padi Kaushik Reddy on Monday tendered his apologies to the Mudiraj community while claiming that the audio in which he was heard purportedly abusing the community was 'fake'.
He requested DGP Anjani Kumar to send the audio clip for forensic examination. He lodged a complaint with the DGP and requested him to take action against those who fabricated the audio and were circulating it to damage his reputation and political career.
Speaking to media personnel at Telangana Bhavan along with Dasoju Sravan, Kaushik Reddy said that the voice in the audio clip not his.
"I respect all castes and religions. I never spoke ill about any caste or religion. Some vested interests created fake audio and levelling false allegations that I abused the Mudiraj community. This is a conspiracy to defame me by vested interests who are unable to digest the love and affection I am getting from the people in Huzurabad assembly constituency," Kaushik Reddy alleged.
"If this fake audio hurt the sentiments of Mudiraj community, I offer unconditional apologies to them," he stated.
