WARANGAL: Janakipuram village sarpanch K. Navya, through her representatives, submitted to Dharmasagar police station in Jangaon district the evidence related to her alleged harassment by Station Ghanpur MLA Thatikonda Rajaiah of ruling BRS.
Upon receiving orders from central and state women's commissions to submit a report on a complaint of harassment filed by sarpanch Navya, Dharmasagar police officials issued notices to Navya to submit call records as well as the evidence she has.
Navya had lodged a complaint on June 21 with Dharmasagar police station against MLA Rajaiah, his personal assistant Srinivas, Dharmasagar MPP Kavitha and her husband Praveen. She claimed that she has all the evidence regarding her harassment by the MLA and his close associates.
With police officials asking Navya to submit the evidence she has, she sent her representatives to the Dharmasagar police station, along with evidence that she possesses.
Dharmasagar inspector Ramesh said Navya has submitted her call records as evidence. After pursuing the call records, they found no proof of MLA Rajaiah being involved in harassing and threatening Navya or her husband.
