VISAKHAPATNAM: Women entrepreneurs expo – Angadi – received an overwhelming response from people in and around Visakhapatnam on Sunday.
Mayor G. Hari Venkata Kumari inaugurated the expo organised at a private hotel by women entrepreneurs wing of AP Chambers. There were 25 different stalls at the expo displaying an array of handcrafted products like Macrame art products, artisan soaps and perfumes, oxidised jewellery, khadi sarees, paintings, resin art products, organic millet powders and cold pressed oils.
Organisers made available edible items like chocolates, ice creams and pastries at a nominal price. Exotic plants were on sale as well.
“I wish there were more food-related stalls showcasing local delicacies,” said Vicki Hale, a visitor from Canada.
