Tirumala gearing up for concluding holy fete Chakra Snanam
TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is all set to observe the most important ritual of Chakra Snanam at Tirumala on the last day of the Srivari annual Brahmotsavams on Tuesday. This sacred event, which draws thousands of devotees, is a significant part of the week-long festivities at the renowned Tirumala temple.
The TTD Vigilance and Security wing, in collaboration with the Tirupati district police department, has made extensive security arrangements for the celestial fete, which takes place in the Swamy Pushkarini, situated in close proximity to the Bhu Varaha Swamy temple.
The auspicious time for the Chakra Snanam ritual has been fixed between 6 am and 9 am. However, the TTD has made a special appeal to devotees to maintain patience and consider taking a bath in the sacred waters of Swamy Pushkarini throughout the day, as the significance of the Chakra Snanam is believed to extend for the entire day.
