Businessman Alleges Harassment by BRS Leaders

Hyderabad: Managing director of Goldfish Abode Pvt Ltd. Chandra Sekhar Vege on Thursday held a press conference and alleged that BRS MLC Challa Venkatrami Reddy and BRS Kollapur MLA Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy are harassing him and his company employees.

“Challa Venkatrami Reddy has filed various false cases against the employees of my company to create undue fear and threaten them,” said Chandra Sekhar.
He mentioned that police filed a false case under PD Act based upon four false criminal cases filed by the supporters of MLC, which was subsequently revoked by the PD Advisory Board.

The reason for dispute between Goldfish Abode Pvt Ltd. and BRS leaders is the land parcel located in Kokapet village (survey number 85 ) that is spread over 2 acres and 30 guntas.

Both these parties - Goldfish Abode Pvt Ltd. and the MLC along with other investors entered into an agreement in 2013, and with real estate prices skyrocketing with every passing year, disagreement unfolded between them.
Presently, the managing director of Goldfish Abode Pvt Ltd. is alleging that the MLC with an intention to keep the entire land for himself is flexing muscles and trying to scare them away from the site with the help of a few bureaucrats.

In September, a case was also registered at Narsingi police station against the MLC, MLA and six others in connection with this land dispute and both the parties have approached the court.
