KAKINADA: Controversial film director Ram Gopal Varma, true to his style, took his selfie with the background being Rajahmundry Central Prison, where former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is in remand.
RGV’s message with the selfie read: “He (Naidu) is inside: Me outside.”
Further rubbing salt into the wounds, Varma stated, “Hey Chandrababu Naidu, none of the Telugu film industry, which is closely associated with you, don’t care about your arrest. Don’t feel like stabbing Telugu film personalities from the front?”, he asked.
The film director comments have been received with enthusiasm by YSRC leaders and cadres.
Incidentally, Telugu film industry has largely not been bothered about the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu, but for four or five cine artists and filmmakers.
