Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a man was charred to death after a moving car in which he was travelling caught fire suddenly in Rangareddy district on Saturday midnight.
The incident took place on the Outer Ring Road between Exit no.12 and 13, opposite Sri Sri Aerocity apartments near Adibatla.
"Received a call at 01:23 am saying that a car caught fire with an unidentified person trapped inside. The patrol team responded promptly, alerting the Fire Services. The firefighters quickly put out the fire," police said.
The victim, identified as Badugula Venkatesh, a 25-year-old student from Kodad, Suryapet was found burnt beyond recognition. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
