TD to get 160 assembly seats, claims Achannaidu
Anantapur: TD state unit president K. Atchannaidu claimed here on Friday that his party would win at least 160 assembly seats in the upcoming general elections.
“Party general secretary Nara Lokesh, who started a padayatra today to ensure the TD win in the next year’s assembly polls, shouldn’t be like his father Chandababu Naidu, who has a soft corner for the opposition parties,” he said.
“May be I’m criticising Naidu about his soft corner when he was CM, but I suggest that Lokesh should teach a lesson to all those, including police officers who created troubles to the TD leaders and cadres under the present dispensation,” Achannaidu said while addressing a public meeting during Lokesh’s Yuva Galam yatra on its launch day. He hoped the yatra would create history and TD would return to power.
Another leader and PAC chairman Payyavula Kesav said Lokesh should have patience as the ruling YSRC might play tricks to disturb the yatra by unleashing its party cadres across the state. “The YSRC is in a state of worry over the public anger against it and the yatra would be a boon to the youths and all other disgusted sections in the state,” he said.
Parital Sriram said unemployed youths in a state of distress were about to flood the roads and be a part of the Yuva Galam yatra.
