Telangana Urdu journalists national meet today
HYDERABAD: The Telangana Urdu Working Journalists Federation will organise a one-day national conference at Khaja Mansion, Masab Tank, here on Sunday. Urdu journalists from different states and cities will participate in the conference.
The conference will feature speeches from academics, intellectuals, legislators, journalists, and public leaders and discuss the challenges that journalists face. Several resolutions addressing these issues will be proposed and deliberated upon.
The attendees include state ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Vemula Prashant Reddy, Telangana Congress president and MP A. Revanth Reddy, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (Manuu) vice-chancellor Ainul Hasan, former Supreme Court Judge Justice B. Sudarshan Reddy, DGP Anjani Kumar, Prof. Padmaja Shah, MLA Ahmed Balala and several other leaders.
Around 700 participants are expected to take part in the conference. Registrations are open from 9 am. Over 300 online registrations have already been received.
