YSRC To Celebrate NTR's Centenary Birth Anniversary Today
VIJAYAWADA: YSR Congress will conduct Telugu Desam founder NTR’s centenary birth anniversary celebrations in Vijayawada on Sunday. YSRC East constituency incharge Devineni Avinash said that they had the right to conduct the NTR centenary birth anniversary celebrations, hence conducting the celebrations in which NTR’s wife Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi and others were going to participate.
Avinash said that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was a leader with a heart who named the district after NTR and further made NTR’s name forever etched in history. He said that the centenary celebrations of the late NT Rama Rao would be organised under the auspices of the NTR Vigyan Trust. It will be held in a grand manner, he added.
Avinash stated that on Friday night, some TD leaders tried to remove the banners erected by them at the NTR circle in Vijayawada regarding NTR’s centenary celebrations. He objected to the rude behaviour of TD leaders and cadres and said that NTR belonged to all. He claimed, “We are NTR’s fans. We have the right to erect banners for NTR. No one has given NTR’s circle to TD. When TD leaders were in power, they used to avoid even mentioning NTR’s name."
Avinash further added that TD leaders prevented the poor from getting houses in Amaravati through the system for three years, but Jagan Mohan Reddy fought on behalf of the poor as a courageous leader and succeeded in providing houses to the poor in Amaravati. He said that the TD leaders were not getting any sleep after seeing the festival of houses in Amaravati. He said that the TD leaders had lost their minds after viewing the Amaravati house site distribution meeting, which reaffirmed the full support of the public for CM Jagan.
